Prior to May 29th, 2016 there was a Pepto-Bismol pink building at the corner of Broadway and 17th near Music Row. This vibrant space hosted Sub Stop, a Nashville sandwich institution for 27 years (the business was located elsewhere for its first 13 years). They had chili, they had Nashville memorabilia and they sure as hell had massive sub sandwiches. Patrons looking to pay tribute can visit the 25-story Skyhouse and leave a little mayonnaise slathered on the ground.
