Description

During the early 90’s, everyone’s favorite theme park – Opryland USA – would transform their grounds into a haunted horrorscape called Howl-O-Ween! Mutants, Monsters, and Creatures would roam among the attendees as they waited to ride the renamed attractions – The Terror Train, The Hangman’s Revenge, Quarantine (Chaos) and Dr Dark’s Carnival of Pandemonium to name a few. Guests would bring carved pumpkins from home to compete in a show-and-tell contest hosted by legendary local public access T.V. ghoul Sir Cecil Creape.

Opryland closed its doors in 1997 but for a few years during October, it was a delightfully spooky destination for adults and kids of all ages to show off their costumes, get candy handouts, and a receive a good family-friendly spook.
