Before there were head shops along Gallatin Rd, there was Stone Mountain in the 1990’s. Located across from Vanderbilt University, up the rickety stairs and above the Papa John’s, the storefront was wildly adorned and welcomed all those looking for incense, tie-dye, bajas, Manic Panic, jewelry and anything tangentially related to hippie culture.
